Built the front panel ... and listen to the music.
It is a good idea to see that the front section starts to work now as hooking this section up will be rewarded with…. music.
There is no need to finish the bridge etc. Just complete the display section and then there will be music.
Take the display pcb as it is and hookup the power to the +5 and the DSA cable to the CDPROx. Let the pcb rest on a piece of corrugated carton so that there will be no electrical short circuits.
Put a disc on the player en enjoy the first music
The idea to get music fast means that you use the original pcb as it is shown on the right hand side. All interconnections required are on this pcb. It responds to the remotecontrol as shown on the picture without additional wiring or bolting.
If you have put together the whole display section it will look as shown below.
For optimizing the sound you can adjust the IV converter as suggested in section 28 page 70 of the manual. |
