Mounting the PROx in the cabinet

 

Basically the PROx is a sensitive device following a just 0.6µm wide track.  Handle it with respect.

 

· Do not touch the lens by hand. ( for ESD safety even do not point to it  by finger )

· Do not place the player upside down resting on the turntable. ( It may bend for some micro meters )

· Do not touch the electronics by hand.  Handle the player by only putting hands on the metal heavy duty chassis.

 

The mounting of the player is done by first mounting a heavy base plate it will absorb vibrations.

Next mount the player on the baseplater and interconnect the CD module with the DA pcb.

 

The result is the situation as show below.

 

Now the other cabinet wall can be erected as well.
