Get the power running

 

If you follow the instruction manual you will reach the point where you have the power section ready.

 

At this point the cabinet will only have 2 sides erected being the leftside wall and the rear wall. This allows easy working on the player during the rest of the construction phase.

 

 

 

Switch it on and test it. 

Use a 12V 5W bulb from a car and hook it up.

This to see if the supply really gives power and not just a voltage.

 

Try it on the 5V and measure the voltage with your multimeter.  ( two times as you have 2 sections of 5V  )

 

Try it on the 9V and measure the voltage with you multimeter.

 

If you are confident then this job is done and OK.

 

The supply is ready and save to continue with.
