Part name: RC5 handset

The RC5 handset allows for trouble free remote control operation. The distance which can be bridged is over 7 meters. All handsets type RC5 system 20 and the correct codes will work proper. The handset allows operation of various other devices as well. Main advantage is the VOLUME control function. Note that the volume control function is not part of the CD player. The remote control offers however the function.

The breaking and folding into a santwich configuration can be seen here…. It allows for a compact display section of only 13 cm wide and 4.8 cm high, thus fitting nearly all cabinets. On this page the displays are in colour.

If not specialised, it is hard to make a picture of the display with a filter in front of it.

It is just to give an impression of the possibilities. The red filter was not dark enough, with no filter it was very bright and the ruler had scratches on it. Also the automatic balancing of the digital camera makes the pictures worse than the reality. The eye is easy to mislead, the ear catches however everything.
