About

DIY-high-END is the site name used by N.Thevissen b.v. of the Netherlands to offer high-end components as used in the industry to the DIY market.    "Make available good products"

Nico Thevissen started in 1998 with the supply of CD modules to the DIY market under the "brand name" HomeOptics. In 2005 the name was changed to DIY-high-END because more and more non-optical products were added to the shipping list.

Nico Thevissen was from early 1984 till the end of 1994 with PHILIPS and participated in the rolling out of the CD-OEM parts to the high-end industry.

In 1994 together with Daniel Schar the company DAISy was founded as distributing company for PHILIPS in order to server the High-End audio manufacturers market. In the year 1997 Daniel Schar sold his shares in the company and the new company owners were Rodolphe Lambert, Eric Poyer and Nico Thevissen

In 2005 Nico Thevissen stopped his activities as marketing manager for DAISy and started to focus on the DIY High-End market.

Some special products were added to the product range in order to serve the customer demand for sundries.

As the DIY-high-END business is no longer  operated as a full time business best is to email me.

Nico Thevissen is now Vision engineer designing systems for production control. Among his customers are companies with stock market notations as well in the food as also automotive and semiconductor industries. So if you need to streamline your production process with some additional inspection points or improve on yield and quality, google  Nico Thevissen.
