You are looking with “bottom view” to the PCB mounted to the mechanism.  The connectors are actually between the metal chassis and the PCB.  See the numbers and text on the PCB it self.

 

What you see actually is a flipped mechanism with the connectors in “x-ray view”

Follow the numbers on the PCB, they are easy to see.

 

If you flip the mechanism see that it does not rest on the turntable as this may result in damage to the turntable.  (This is a common laboratory problem.) Use the styrophor cradle as support.
